I am an entrepreneur who aspires to create music therapy services accessible and tailored to a variety of populations in New Brunswick. I have worked in Long Term Care, Schools, and Community Settings. Another ambition of mine is to create Music Therapy programming available within Provincial and Federal Facilities; including school boards, community centres, long-term care facilities, forensic settings, and social development centres. I look forward to collaborating with others to further implement Music Therapy across New Brunswick.

My specialty in music therapy is working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) from my at-home studio, and geriatrics. I use Esther Thane's Meet In The Music© curriculum when I work with children with ASD, which has been used with this clinical population for over twenty years. I also offer clinical music therapy services to the population at large.

I have experience working in the long-term care sector for nearly 10 years, with Shannex LTC homes and in the Calgary area from 2012-14. Within that time, I successfully acquired grant funding for a project to enhance sound environments in long-term care, specifically as it pertains to dementia units.

I have piloted palliative care initiatives over the years, as well as completed specific trainings such as Neurologic Music Therapy and PIECES training.

Prior to my experience with Shannex homes, I spent much of my clinical training at JB Music Therapy working across various populations in addition to senior care, primarily with children with developmental delays and adults with acquired brain injury.
